Calculation methodology, data and privacy
How to interpret SuperCrypto’s planning tools, market quotes, saved records and exports.
What SuperCrypto provides
SuperCrypto is part of Tools Master Hub. It provides 20 free English-language crypto and investment tools. It does not execute trades, custody assets, connect exchange accounts or request private keys. Financial figures are in USD unless a field labels another unit.
Calculations and assumptions
Each calculator provides its purpose, assumptions and a worked example. Results depend on the values you enter. Check fee treatment, dates, compounding frequency, slippage and other inputs before using an output.
- Simple DCA and compound-growth tools model assumptions; they do not forecast actual returns.
- Historical DCA uses uploaded or available historical observations, subject to date coverage and input quality.
- Liquidation estimates use a simplified isolated linear-contract model. Actual exchange rules may differ.
- Capital-gain scenarios apply a manually entered rate; they do not implement jurisdiction-specific tax rules.
- Trade plans, rebalancing suggestions and stress tests never place orders.
Market data and freshness
When configured by the owner, CoinGecko quotes are fetched through a PHP gateway and shared cache with fixed quota limits and cooldowns. Check the displayed source and timestamp. A cached or stale quote is not a live execution price. Manual prices override market prices for the relevant holding and are labelled Manual. Unavailable data is not replaced with fictional market prices.
News and sentiment are separate optional feeds. Historical downloads require separate enablement. A working market feed does not mean the other feeds are enabled.
Records are separate
Portfolio holdings, imported transactions, trading-journal entries and the daily investment tracker serve different purposes. Importing transactions does not automatically update holdings. Tracker daily values are entered manually; a change in value is not automatically an investment return.
Storage, samples and backups
Financial records are saved in IndexedDB in your browser for this website’s origin. They do not automatically sync across browsers, devices, localhost addresses or domains. Clearing site data can delete them. Download a full JSON backup to transfer or restore records; PDF, Excel and CSV reports are not full backups.
Load sample data creates labelled fictional records in a separate sample portfolio. All portfolios may include these samples in totals. Clear sample data removes sample-origin records into the recycle bin and preserves newly added manual records.
Calculator inputs and financial exports are processed locally. Optional provider feeds and external charts contact their providers. Sharing a file sends it through the app you choose. See the privacy policy for details.
Sources and corrections
The assumptions printed on each tool page describe the implemented model. CoinGecko is the optional crypto quote provider; external charts use TradingView. These providers are not endorsements of the calculations.
Read the user guide and terms. To report a discrepancy, use the contact page and include the tool name, inputs, expected result and observed result. Do not send passwords, private keys or personal financial backups.
Public knowledge files
The OKF knowledge bundle and machine-readable site index describe public pages and assumptions. They contain no visitor portfolios, API credentials or live price claims.
